[EngVersion][DressCode] How to make your own Marsoc 2011 inspiration !

Hello SOG-team and dear forum's users,

It's dress code time !

First, i'm french, so...i'm a stereotype...i don't speak very well english...be kind :p

Today, we gonna spoke about Marsoc !


First ! What's marsoc ?

So ! It's an elite corp of USMC ! After speak about actual USMC Grunt and Marines during Iraqi Freedom, it's time for Marsoc.

As usual, it's an inspiration NOT a reenactment topic. It's to be right with some "operation" dress code (likes Wild trigger one in france)


About my stuff ?



We gonna start on a recent dress code, but not too much. We need to make visual differences with the others units (there is too much multicam and fast!). So, it's 2011 style in this topic.



- The Clothes ! Woodland ! But the tacticool version -> Crye precision style woodland.

- The plate carrier : Mbav MJK, JPC mc/cb/rg or RRV over a bulletproof vest PACA.


- The helmet : Mich2000 !! Or...fast ballistic (the one without hole and not the seal's one (maritime). If you have an airframe, it's good too but...not for 2011. If you play in forest and dont like helmet : boonie hat ! Woodland of course.

- Guns : M4, Scar H, M14EBR/DMR, M40, Mk11 (SR25), m249 or mk48 (Mk46 in 7.62mm) or the huge m240b. In pistol : 1911 meu or glock 19

- More stuff : Belly bag eagle

So, we have a lot of choice in stuff.

And my money in all of this ?


- For the clothes, i make a review about the new TMC pant "CP style" (58$ all in), i use an Helikon combat shirt (about 50$). Great quality both of them.

The PC, the Mbav is almost sold out or in cheap quality. The JPC in MC is the more simple to find. Bet on 60$ all in. Because it's the most versatile PC in airsoft...it's not worth of money

For the helmet, an old mich 2000 ! Od or Tan with paint job!

- For the gun, you can use what you have in US style as always. But ! If you have the possibility, use one of the gun replica i spoke about. The top is an mk18 with 12" DD ris wih specter, peq15 and m3x.

- For the GBB, glock or 1911. Holster ? Safariland or CQC Bhi. There is a lot of replica

There a lot of small thing...Mais the "hype" is the ERB Belly Bag from EI. There is a replica from TMC :

You can also add a fake PRC148, in headset, you can ise a sordin or a TASC1 replica. We found too the habitual garmin foretrex. At your discretion to brought a fake one or a real one ^^

For those already had a MCCUU marpat woodland/desert set, don't took the JPC, stay with a MBAV/RRV or Ciras. Use a mich200 and it's gonna be alright with 2007 Marsoc Style.
